Personalized hotel experience in a single app: the innovative TMRW mobile app
The initial need for development arose in connection with a specific hotel, KVIHotel Budapest. The idea was to create a smart hotel in which virtually everything can be arranged via smartphone or tablet from booking to check-out, providing a new guest experience and providing a more cost-effective operation for hotel operators. From this project grew the TMRW Hotels mobile app itself, which allows users to manage the entire hotel experience within a single app, including all important functions from hotel search to check-out.

Initially, our goal was to develop a mobile application for Android and iOS platforms that allows users to use their mobile phone to search for a hotel, book a room for a selected time interval, pay for the reservation, and perform check-in and check-out tasks. It was also important that with the help of our application users can book the selected room, be able to enter the building and have the opportunity to order a taxi and food to the hotel, as well as remotely control the air conditioning.
During the initial stages of the project, we defined the objectives, which were set out in detailed functional specifications, and then began the UX/UI design. Our development team has created a. NET based backend service, as well as a native iOS application that uses REST API to communicate with the backend. The development of the frontend has also played an important role, since we have optimized the different interfaces (web, smartphone, tablet). We have also developed an integrated payment platform to simplify payment processes. Functional elements include splash screen, tutorial page, main screen, menu, registration, login, as well as a number of additional steps in the booking process and additional services. Examples include booking, check-in, ordering food, calling a taxi or requesting breakfast. In addition, we have developed an admin page that focuses on managing and tracking tasks efficiently. We worked out the priority and status of task lists, as well as optimized the management of rooms and premises. User-friendly appearance and intuitive operation were the main considerations in the design of the entry and menu system. The main functions, such as the hotel main page, room management and reporting, have been designed and implemented in detail so that all important information is easily accessible to the operators.
The mobile application developed by us provides users with a unique experience, allowing them to manage the entire hotel experience within a single application. The systems have simplified reservations and increased the comfort of users.
